How Much Do Truck Drivers at Classic Carriers Get Paid?
At Classic Carriers, we pay by the mile. Our company drivers have the option to choose from two pay packages, which include:
- $.53 CPM base for all miles (we pay practical miles) + accessorials/bonuses + benefits (medical, vacation, holiday) + per diem + yearly pay increases + longevity bonus.
- $.63 CPM all miles (we pay practical miles) + accessorials/bonuses (no health insurance, no vacation pay, no holiday pay) + per diem + longevity bonus.
As a company driver, we have various route options that include OTR, local, set route and part-time.
Classic Carrier OTR truckers drive routes in the continental U.S., Canada and Mexico. Our local drivers transport loads from within a 100-mile radius of our Versailles, Ohio headquarters, while our route drivers, also called set routine or dedicated drivers, run the same routes to the same clients according to a predetermined daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
We also have the option to be a part-time OTR truck driver. These drivers pick up work on the days and times that work best with their personal schedules.
